Today did 27 SICS, both temporal and superior. All sorts of cases. Many mature and brown. Today for the first time felt that becoming a high volume SICS surgeon is a matter of time. It simply comes with time when one consistently keeps on doing large number of cases. I, personally, have no reason to become since i see and have no insentive to become a high volume. What is importeant to my mind is to learn good phaco in whatever time is left. I now have 2 months and 20 days left for the course if the course goes on undisturbed by its schedule.
