| As the year 2005 ends, i am plaqued with the sensless worry of wether i will make it to the west. and if at all i do make it, wether i will get what i seek. i know its very silly of me. as monish said, thinking makes a man weak. one must act. thinking creates doubt and hesitancy. Today was interesting day in the OT. Enkma had scleral disinsertion. I closed the superior wound with 2 sutures 10-0 and made a temporal tunnel for her. at the same time, Lakshmi had premature entry. i had to re fashion a tunnel at another plane. DT had a PC rent which he failed to recognise. I managed it with sponge manual vitrectomy. It was an incomplete vitrectomy but hopefully there shouldnot be any vitreous going to the section. Glaucoma fellow had a whole bag removal. Did automated vitrectomy. Patient was left aphakic as the cornea was very unhealthy and in addition to this, there was significant descemet stripping.

This month i am ECCE and SICS trainer. My students include Elena Albe from Milano, Italy and Enkhma from Ulan Battor, Mongolia. There is also Chinmoi from Nagaland, though she actually is from Assam.
